A curious mind.
A practical streak.
Hi, I’m Kevin. I work across business, engineering and borders. Along the way, I build useful things, explore new technology and follow the occasional rabbit hole.
Kevin Sullivan / Madrid, Spain
Engineering roots.
Interests that don’t fit in one box.
I’m an American living in Madrid, equally at home in English and Spanish. French is also part of my language repertoire. I studied chemical engineering at Purdue, worked on international engineering projects, and moved into commercial roles connecting North America and Spain.
Today, I’m North America Commercial Manager at TuLotero, where I’ve helped take the business from no U.S. presence to operations in multiple states. The role brings together technical and commercial knowledge: understanding how the technology works, working through regulations, building relationships and turning a long-term plan into something that works.
Having lived outside the United States for nearly two decades, I feel at home in international and multicultural environments. I enjoy working with people from different backgrounds, adapting to local contexts and finding common ground across cultures.
I also like making things for myself: apps, datasets and tools that solve everyday problems. Outside work, aviation, travel and a good trivia question tend to catch my attention.
Curiosity, put to work.
A couple of personal projects, and a look back at where I started.
English practice for Spanish speakers. Personal vocabulary, flashcards and pronunciation, one word at a time.
Earlier explorations in data
Transportation datasets, border crossings and visualizations from my first steps into coding.
A few other
rabbit holes.
Aviation & travel
The places, the journeys and, quite often, the aircraft getting us there.
Useful technology
Small tools, new possibilities and finding out what I can make with them.
Trivia & culture
Literature, history and the satisfying moment when a clue finally clicks.
Good conversations
start with hello.
